Is my data private?
Yes. Your Trove is stored in your own iCloud account and syncs only to your devices. On-device AI options handle scanning and identification without anything leaving your iPhone. Cloud AI features are opt-in per action.
Does Trove work offline?
Most of it, yes. Adding items, browsing, editing, and on-device Receipt Scan and Email Scan all work without a connection. Cloud AI features — like Trove Thumbnail Pro and the Accurate scan modes — need internet.
How does Family Sharing work?
On Premium, invite up to five people from your household to view and contribute to a shared Trove. Access is managed by you and revocable any time, powered by iCloud sharing.
What are AI credits and how much do I get?
AI credits cover cloud-powered features like Trove Thumbnail, Item Identify, and Accurate scan modes. Premium includes 50 credits per month; Premium Max includes 150. Additional credit packs (100, 250, 500) are available on Premium Max if you need more.
Can I export my inventory?
Yes. Export to CSV, generate insurance or donation reports as PDFs, or pull out individual photos and documents. Your data stays portable.
What devices does Trove support?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. iPhones with LiDAR can capture 3D models of items. Widgets, Siri Shortcuts, Spotlight Search, and Live Activities are all included.
How do insurance reports work?
Pick a Collection, a Room, or your whole Trove, and Trove produces a PDF listing items, photos, purchase details, serial numbers, and total value — ready to send to your insurer.
